What is Your Magic? was created to support you in knowing the truth that YOU are uniquely gifted to experience meaning and purpose in your life and to find fulfillment in the use and engagement of your gifts, first for yourself, and then, in service to the betterment of the world.

Through this 13 week course, you will have an opportunity to explore the twenty-six traditional spiritual (magical) gifts of the Judeo-Christian tradition, along with the spiritual gifts (siddhis) of the Yogic tradition, the Beautitudes of Jesus and some fun and fantastical gifts drawn both from reality and fantasy (ie: clairaudience, invisibility, time-morphing).

Scripture is used as a way of illustrating the use of these gifts, and mindfulness and creativity exercises are employed as a way of facilitating the process of discernment, supporting you in identifying which gifts you possess and how you are called to use these gifts in support of your own fulfillment and for the sake of the betterment of the world.

Course Outline:

Week One: Welcome, Introduction and Exploring Vocational Call.

Week Two: Exploring the Multitude of Gifts – including those we might judge as a challenge instead of as a gift.

Week Three: Discernment – the formal process through which we determine our gifts.

Week Four: Doing What Jesus Did – Jesus as the model of living our gifts to the fullest, and exploring the magic gifts of administration, voluntary celibacy and craftsmanship.

Week Five: The Magical Gifts of Discernment of Spirits, Encouragement and Evangelism (salesmanship).

Week Six: The Magical Gifts of Faith, Giving and Healing.

Week Seven: The Magical Gifts of Helps, Hospitality, Intercessory Prayer

and Knowledge.

Week Eight: The Magical Gifts of Leadership, Mercy, Missionary and Music.

Week Nine: The Magical Gifts of Pastoring, Prophecy, Service and Teaching.

Week Ten: The Magical Gifts of Voluntary Poverty, Wisdom, Writing, Speaking in Tongues and Interpretation of Tongues.

Week Eleven: The Magic Represented in The Yoga Siddhis of Patanjali and the Beatitudes of Jesus.

Week Twelve: The Fantastic Magical Gifts – Harry Potter anyone?

Week Thirteen: Saying Yes to Our Gifts – Commissioning Ceremony.
